When a crooked b-boy promoter threatens Chocolate's girlfriend, he must dance and fight his onetime rival to rescue her. Chi Y. Lee directs this dynamic drama starring Megan Lai, Akio Chen and Po-Ching Huang.
  • The Forbidden Kingdom  - 
    Kung fu legends Jackie Chan and Jet Li star in this exciting adventure about a martial arts movie fanatic named Jason (Michael Angarano) who discovers a mystical Chinese staff in a local pawnshop that transports him to war-torn ancient China. When he learns that the staff belongs to the mighty Monkey King, who's been unjustly imprisoned by an evil warlord, Jason joins a group of skilled warriors to free the captive king and return the weapon.
  • The Kidnapping of the President / Deathrow Gameshow  - 
    William Shatner stars in the first half of this vintage double feature. Portraying a heroic Secret Service agent, Shatner races against the clock to rescue the president (Hal Holbrook) from the clutches of crazed South American terrorists. Then, in the cult favorite Deathrow Gameshow, John McCafferty plays the slimy host of an outrageous game show that pits death-row inmates against one another in a battle for their lives.
  • The Legend of God's Gun  - 
    When rotten scoundrel El Sobero returns to the desert town of Playa Diablo to shoot it out with the local sheriff, a preacher who handles a six-shooter as savagely as he does his Bible sets out to settle an old score with the bandito. Now their twisting paths of good and evil are headed for a final, bloody showdown. Mike Bruce directs this engaging modern take on the spaghetti Western starring Robert Bones and Kirpatrick Thomas.
  • Alvin and the Chipmunks Go to the Movies: Daytona Jones and the Pearl of Wisdom  - 
    Alvin, Simon and Theodore swing into action in this episode of the spoof-filled show. Alvin is adventurer Daytona Jones, and Simon is his faithful sidekick, Seri-Toga. There are cliffhangers aplenty when they set off to find the legendary Pearl of Wisdom. Fans of both the animated series and a certain Hollywood classic will find hilarious in-jokes and more than a few surprises, along with a little swashing and buckling.
  • Barbie & The Diamond Castle  - 
    Barbie and Teresa share this enchanting tale about Liana and Alexa, best friends who find a girl trapped inside a mirror. To free her from the glass prison, Liana and Alexa must put their fears aside and journey to the mysterious Diamond Castle. Along their noble but intimidating quest, the two girls encounter some tricky situations that seriously challenge their friendship and test their courage.
  • Cats: The Movie  - 
    Who says cats can't be trained to do tricks? Actual felines make up the cast of this live-action family adventure, with voices provided by human actors Michelle Rodriguez, Jeremy Piven, Dominique Swain and Jeremy Sisto. When his owners go out of town for the weekend, a cooped-up cat named Marcello ventures outdoors to frolic with a new friend, a pretty kitty called Jujube. This time, when the people are away, it's the cats that play.
  • Clifford the Big Red Dog: A Big Help  - 
    Come play with Clifford the Big Red Dog and his pack of canine, feline and human friends -- including Emily Elizabeth, the lucky girl who picked him out when he was just a runt-of-the-litter puppy -- in this collection of helping-themed episodes. In the title episode, Clifford teams with T-Bone and Cleo to assist others around Birdwell Island. But the trio worries that their efforts won't have a big enough impact. Boy, were they wrong!
  • Doodlebops: We Love Our Friends  - 
    The music-loving Doodlebops -- Deedee (Lisa Lennox), Moe (Jonathan Wexler) and Rooney Doodle (Chad McNamara) -- cut loose and get down with their friends in this kid-friendly collection of four episodes. Audio Murphy tries to help Jazzmin manage her to-do list, and Rooney builds a strange new invention. Later, the band discovers a chicken that lays seemingly magical eggs, and Jazzmin loses her rhyming skills.
  • Edgar & Ellen: Season 1  - 
    Twins Edgar and Ellen have a penchant for making mischief in this Nicktoons animated series based on the books by Charles Ogden and illustrations by Rick Carton, which evoke playful comparisons to the creepiness of Edgar Allan Poe. In the show's first season, the trouble-loving 12-year-olds set booby traps in their parents' 13-story mansion; enroll their beloved pet -- named Pet -- in a dog show; and invent a robot that can't stop cleaning.
  • Ki-Kids: Astronauts & Medicos  - 
    Kio and Kia learn about the careers of astronauts and doctors in this installment of the bilingual animated series. Joined by their friends, Pekas, Kate and Kukie the Giraffe, they discover what it takes to take care of others and rocket into space. Geared toward preschoolers, this program imparts understanding of physical fitness, responsibility and other traits important not just to doctors and astronauts, but to everyone.
  • Legion of Super Heroes: Vol. 3  - 
    Superman teams with some of DC Comics' best-known teen superheroes -- including Brainiac 5, Lighting Lad and Phantom Girl -- to fight crime in the 31st century in this third volume of Season 1 episodes from the Saturday morning cartoon hit. Since the Man of Steel can stay in the future only for so long, the teens will have to hold tryouts to find his replacement. Could an iron-clad mutant named Ferro Lad be the hero they've been looking for?

  • Unstable Fables: Tortoise vs. Hare  - 
    Jay Leno, Drake Bell and Danny Glover are just a few of the familiar names that provide the voices for this irreverent retelling of the classic Aesop's fable, produced by the Jim Henson Company. Looking for a little payback after his legendary loss to his velocity-challenged rival, Murray Hare and his son Butch challenge Walter Tortoise and his daughter Crystal to compete in the dreaded Mount Impossible Nature Adventure Race.
  • Wonder Pets: Save the Bengal Tiger!  - 
    After the schoolchildren have gone home for the day, classroom pets Linny the guinea pig, Tuck the turtle and Ming-Ming the duckling discover that a Bengal tiger is in serious jeopardy and needs their help. Soon enough, the Wonder Pets are off to the rescue aboard their flyboat, but when at first they don't succeed, they must remember that only by working together can they save the tiger from peril.
  • A Day at the Beach  - 
    A trip to a shabby seaside resort for Bernie (Mark Burns) and his crippled daughter, Winnie (Beatrice Edney), devolves into a shameful display of neglect and addiction as the alcoholic, self-pitying Bernie medicates his bitterness with liquor until he's staggering drunk. Director Simon Hesera's offbeat 1970 drama features a script penned by Roman Polanski and a nuanced cameo by Peter Sellers as a gay merchant.
  • Bees in Paradise  - 
    British comedian Arthur Askey stars in this uproarious film about a ferry pilot and his crew who find themselves making a forced landing on a South Atlantic island, which they learn is governed by a very unique set of rules. The island follows the "law of the beehive," meaning that women are in charge of everything. But the crew soon wonders whether this system is really all that different from the one back home.
  • Chandu the Magician  - 
    Dashing Frank Chandler's (Edmund Lowe) alter ego, Chandu the Magician, strikes fear into the underworld. When the evil Roxor (Bela Lugosi) kidnaps his brother-in-law, Chandu employs all his powers to get him back. Roxor's diabolical challenges are no match for the illusionist, until the archfoe raises the stakes by abducting Chandu's beloved Princess Nadji (Irene Ware). William Cameron Menzies directs this adaptation of the popular radio serial.
  • Dr. Renault's Secret  - 
    Larry Forbes (Shepperd Strudwick) travels to a tiny French village, where he crosses paths with Dr. Renault (George Zucco), his niece (Lynne Roberts) and his strange assistant, Noel (J. Carrol Naish). Forbes is intrigued by the scientist, but soon learns that under Renault's harmless façade lurks a dark secret. The doctor is linked to a recent string of murders in the town, and Noel is the product of a ghastly experiment.
  • Dragonwyck  - 
    Joseph L. Mankiewicz made his directorial debut with this chilling gothic tale of Nicholas Van Ryn (Vincent Price), who becomes infatuated with a servant girl, Miranda (Gene Tierney), and disposes of his wife to be near her. But even Miranda is unable to give Nicholas the male heir he longs for, and when his one son with Miranda dies, he retreats into drug-addled madness. Glenn Langan and Walter Huston co-star.
  • Rodan  - 
    As if dealing with a horde of colossal, killer caterpillars weren't bad enough, the citizens of a Japanese mining town have their hands full when a pair of giant pterodactyls with an appetite for destruction -- and eyes for each other -- shows up. Kenji Sahara, Yumi Shirakawa, Akio Kobori and Akihiko Hirata head the cast in director Ishirô Honda's 1956 sci-fi classic featuring inspired special effects.
  • The Monster That Challenged the World / It! The Terror from Beyond Space  - 
    Terror and campy acting abound in this pair of sci-fi drive-in classics. In The Monster That Challenged the World, an underwater earthquake unleashes a prehistoric monster's hideous offspring to dine on residents of California; Tim Holt and Hans Conried star. It! The Terror from Beyond Space (an inspiration for 1979's Alien) pits an astronaut (Marshall Thompson) in the "distant future" of 1973 against a scaly beast that absorbs its human prey.
  • The Square Peg  - 
    British clown prince Norman Wisdom stars as Norman Pitkin, a World War II-era road repairman who gets recruited by the army and dispatched to France, where he accidentally ventures behind enemy lines. After being picked up by the Resistance, Norman spearheads an effort to rescue British POWs from German custody, which lands him in an improbable solo battle against the German army -- with high jinks as his weapon of choice.
  • War of the Gargantuas  - 
    When a furry green monster begins destroying the city, Dr. Paul Stewart (Russ Tamblyn) realizes it's a gargantua that escaped from his lab years ago. Hoping to save the day, he unleashes a second gargantua to take on the first. Tokyo teeters on the brink of disaster as the two monsters -- one fighting for mankind, the other against it -- duke it out in this Japanese monster classic. Kumi Mizuno and Kenji Sahara co-star.
  • Apostles of Comedy  - 
    What would Jesus do for a laugh? Well, one thing's for sure: He'd probably get a kick out of these four Christian funnymen who call themselves the Apostles of Comedy and craft their stand-up around clean, wholesome jokes. Featuring live sets from comedians Jeff Allen, Brad Stine, Ron Pearson and Anthony Griffith delivered in front of a Nashville crowd, this release also includes behind-the-scenes footage capturing the guys at home and at church.
  • Baby Mama  - 
    Tina Fey (TV's "30 Rock") stars in this hilarious comedy as Kate Holbrook, an ultra-driven career woman who, upon learning she's infertile, hires Angie (Amy Poehler), a South Philly working girl, to be her live-in surrogate. As the pair struggles to adjust to their unconventional partnership, Kate and Angie soon discover that sometimes family can be found in the unlikeliest of places. Sigourney Weaver and Greg Kinnear co-star.
  • Block Party Madness 3  - 
    Once again it's a scorching summer in New Orleans -- which means it's time to throw the hottest block party ever, with AJ and his homeboy Trip masterminding the festivities in this third installment of Da Block Party series. Though cops and cheesed off neighbors conspire to end the fun, AJ and Trip will stop at nothing to top last year's extravaganza. A galaxy of hip-hop stars supplies the kickin' soundtrack.

    Bringing his funniest observations of everyday life, clever comedian Brian Regan returns for his second Comedy Central stand-up special.   • Foreign Exchange  - 
    Four high school friends expecting to coast through senior year get an unexpected assignment when they're put in charge of a group of foreign exchange students. But showing their new friends the ropes isn't going to cramp their style. Before long, everyone discovers that hard-core partying, sexual escapades and enjoying illegal substances are universal. Ryan Pinkston, Ashley Edner and Jennifer Coolidge star in this over-the-top teen comedy.
  • I Want Candy  - 
    Stephen Surjik directs this comedy starring Tom Riley and Tom Burke as two film school students whose first movie goes awry. Desperate to finance their flick, Joe and Baggy turn to a pornography producer who puts up the cash -- that is, if the duo can get semi-retired adult film actress Candy (Carmen Electra) to star. She agrees to do it, and soon their earnest script morphs into a raunchy show shot in Joe's parents' suburban home on the sly.
  • National Lampoon's Homo Erectus  - 
    Caveman Ishbo (Adam Rifkin) definitely doesn't fit the mold. Tired of hunting, gathering and primitive tools, he yearns for something more. Unfortunately, his quest doesn't appeal to the girl of his dreams, Fardart (Ali Larter), who only has eyes for Ishbo's hunky brother (Hayes MacArthur). David Carradine and Talia Shire co-star as Ishbo's supportive parents in this Stone Age comedy, which Rifkin also wrote and directed.
  • Taking 5  - 
    Gabby (Daniella Monet) and Devon (Alona Tal) worship boy band 5 Leo Rise. So when they have a chance to win a free concert for their high school by collecting bottle labels, they go all out. But the labels are accidentally destroyed in a fire, and now the two teens must come up with a new scheme -- or risk disappointing the whole school. Real band the Click Five portrays the pop group; co-stars include Christy Carlson Romano and Marcus T. Paulk.
  • Elevator Movie  - 
    When the elevator they are riding in gets stuck between floors, reclusive Jim and born-again Christian Lana wait for hours, days, weeks and finally months for the repairman to arrive. As Jim reveals a chronic obsession with sex and Lana opens up about her promiscuous past, the two come to share a bizarre emotional and physical intimacy. Zeb Haradon directs and stars in this twisted odyssey into the surreal that also stars Robin Ballard.

    Exploring the theme that we're all connected, this indie drama follows six people who find their lives altered forever by random events. After losing his home to a fire that also injures his son and puts a neighbor in the hospital, Allen hits the airwaves to rail against human brutality and indifference.
  • The Fall  - 
    Set in the 1920s, director Tarsem Singh's visually lush drama stars Lee Pace as paralyzed movie stuntman Roy Walker, who bonds with an imaginative 5-year-old named Alexandria (Catinca Untaru) as they convalesce together in a Los Angeles infirmary. To coax the girl into procuring the cache of morphine he wants from the hospital pharmacy, the suicidal Roy regales Alexandria with an elaborate fantasy about larger-than-life heroes.
  • Through the Valley  - 
    Jaime Flores (Pablo Bracho) fights to clean up the streets in his tough Chicago neighborhood, standing up to local politicians and unfair laws. Unfortunately, fate lands him in jail for a murder he didn't commit, represented by a rookie public defender (Angela D. Smith). With the help of a friend (Felix Garcia), Jaime works to clear his name and stop the gang violence that threatens all he's worked for. Danny Trejo co-stars.
  • Nympha  - 
    When Sarah (Tiffany Shepis), a young American, travels to Italy to join the New Order convent as a cloister nun, she prepares for an arduous spiritual journey. Helmed by first-time filmmaker Jason Murphy, this zany, tongue-in-cheek horror-thriller stars FHM model Jessica Barton and Playboy Playmate Hollie Winnard.
  • Light and the Sufferer  - 
    Blending elements of several different genres, this coming-of-age tale about mysterious beings that are drawn to those in trouble is based on a short story by Jonathan Lethem. College dropout Paul (Michael Esper) launches a search for his estranged brother, Don (Paul Dano), urging his sibling to travel west with him in search of something different. But the two fall prey to a mysterious "sufferer" -- and drug dealers who want them both dead.
  • The Plans of Man  - 
    Dean Loxton stars as Adam, a man torn between two loves -- one in New York and one in London -- in this romantic tale. When his fiancée, Lilith (Lisa West), moves to New York, London-based Adam needs a green card to follow her there. Meanwhile, Evie (Adriane Denia), an American, needs a British visa, so Adam and Evie marry for reciprocal citizenship rights. Who will he choose to be with, now that he's fallen for Evie?

    Ulli Lommel directs this period thriller set in late 1970s New York City, the site of the infamous "Son of Sam" serial killings that had everyone, from all walks of life, on edge and on guard. Were the brutal shootings really the sole work of David Berkowitz (Yogi Joshi), who confessed to the crimes and said he received orders to carry them out from his neighbor's demonic dog? Or were they also the work of someone else?
  • 14 Women  - 
    Exploring the lives of the 14 female U.S. senators, this compelling documentary looks at the challenges they face, including the sometimes difficult balance between their roles as public servants and as wives and mothers. When the 109th Congress opened in 2005, it included more women senators than had served in the entire history of the Senate. With some of the senators' relatives producing and directing, the film offers a true insider's view.
